CGN New Energy innovates the poverty alleviation model and works with Central Enterprises Poor Regions Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd. to jointly establish the clean energy industry poverty alleviation platform. CGN New Energy invests about RMB 1,633,390,000 and Central Enterprises Poor Regions Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd. invests RMB 700,000,000 according to the proportion of shares of 70%:30% to jointly establish CGN Chuangyi Wind Power Generation (Beijing) Co., Ltd. CGN New Energy and Central Enterprises Poor Regions Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd. establish the clean energy industry poverty alleviation platform with a total investment of RMB 9.894 billion and a total installed capacity of 1,608.30 MW, covering 12 national-level poverty-stricken counties in 8 provinces such as Guangxi and Sichuan. CGN New Energy constructs 17 wind power generation and photovoltaic power generation projects to assist in the targeted poverty alleviation for the poverty stricken population.

CGN New Energy undertakes the deployment and arrangement of “investigating the conditions of the people, serving the interests of the people, and winning the hearts of the people” activities for the CPC Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and establishes a work team to go to the Xieheli Village, Tumuxiuke Town, Wensu County, Aksu Prefecture for the stability safeguard work for more than 5 years.

The 11 clean energy power stations operated by CGN New Energy have won the “Energy Science Popularization and Education Bases” awarded by China Energy Research Society.

At present, the largest new energy science popularization and education base in China, i.e. CGN Yunnan Modoushan Science Popularization and Education Base, has been completed. It has a floor area of 15,000 square meters and can receive the tourists of 12,000 person-times.
