On 4 July, the prize-awarding ceremony of the 10th Investor Relations Awards (“IR Awards”), an annual event hosted by the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (“HKIRA”), was held in Conrad Hong Kong. CGN New Energy (1811.HK) stood out among numerous enterprise candidates by virtue of its excellent performance in ESG, information disclosure and investor relations management and it not only won eight awards: “Best IR Company”, “Best ESG” (awards for performance in environmental and social aspects), “Best Annual Report”, “Best IR by Chairman/CEO”, “Best IR by CFO”, “Best IRO (Investor Relations Officer)”, and “Best IR Team”, but also won the award of “Best Overall IR Company”, the highest honor at this prize-awarding ceremony (one each for large, medium and small-sized Hong Kong stocks, with 1811 is the only winner among the small-sized stocks).

    Over the years, the Company has always attached great importance to investor relations and ESG. In terms of investor relations management, the Company adheres to the principle of facilitating the communication with investors, responds to investors’ demands in multiple ways and through multiple channels, continues to expand the depth of its information disclosure, and continuously strengthens interactions in professional fields, thereby having maintained excellent and effective communication with the investors. In terms of ESG governance, the Company firmly adheres to the principle of putting environmental protection first, whereby, in its daily operation and management, the Company continuously improves its environmental management system by strengthening its assessment on climate risks and setting directional targets relating to carbon emissions and water resources. Besides, the Company continues to improve its ESG governance by expanding its social responsibilities and adding content on new areas such as technical R&D and innovation. The winning of the eight awards fully reflects the capital market's recognition of the Company's efforts in investor relations and ESG.
