Arthur Lee, CGN Meiya was elected 2015/16 Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong

Arthur Lee, the Assistant President, Company Secretary & General Manager of Investor Relations of CGN Meiya, was newly elected 2015/16 Chairman of ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Hong Kong.

Lee has been a Committee Member of ACCA Hong Kong since 2010, serving as the Co-chairman of its Student Affairs Sub-committee from 2012 to 2014. ‘I am very honoured to be elected as the Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong. This year 2015 marks the 65th anniversary of ACCA Hong Kong. Throughout these years, ACCA has been growing along with Hong Kong on its journey in becoming the world’s financial centre. With such strong endorsements from business leaders and employers of accounting professionals, ACCA will continue to offer tremendous opportunities for students and members to achieve their career destination of choice around the world,’ said Lee.

‘As the new term begins, I pledge to uphold the principles of service of the previous committee, and will strive to serve the industry, members and students whilst promoting ACCA’s core values. With our precious depth of experience over the last 65 years, we will continue our commitment in enabling ACCA members to deliver the best, and developing the accounting professionals the world needs. ACCA will also continue our commitment to creating different professional communication platforms for our members, keeping them abreast of forward-looking trends and the latest market information, helping them to keep hold of the reins in their workplace,’ Lee added.
