On Aug 10, CGN Meiya held its Special General Meeting at the Wharney Guang Dong Hotel in Wanchai, Hong Kong. The meeting approved 2 resolutions on CGN Meiya acquiring CGN Group’s wind and solar assets, and appointment of independent director. Chairman of CGN Meiya, Chen Sui, hosted the meeting.

The meeting reported 2 resolutions to be approved to the shareholders, first is CGN Meiya’s proposal to parent company CGN Group for acquiring wind project 1201.2 MW and solar project 180.8 MW; second is to propose appointing Prof. Zhang Dongxiao to be the independent director and 3 years of tenure. Then the meeting entered voting process and the 2 resolutions were unanimously approved by shareholder representatives. And the asset injection resolution had approved by full vote.

The approval of these 2 resolutions not only reflects shareholders’ trust to CGN Meiya, but also shows that the capital markets recognition. CGN Meiya claimed that they will continue to develop in the future in response to shareholders’ support.

CGN Meiya President and executive director Lin Jian, independent director Liang Zizheng, Chief Accountant Yao Wei and Company Secretary Arthur Lee attended the meeting.
