In the afternoon of Aug 13, Governor Hee Jung An of Chungnam Province, Mayor Wan Sub Lee of Seosan City and President Lin Jian of Meiya Power signed the MOU of Korea Daesan II Gas-fired Combined Cycled Power Plant Project (“MOU”). Chairman Chen Sui of Meiya Power hosted the signing ceremony and Chairman He Yu of CGN Group attended and addressed.

Korea Daesan II Gas-fired Combined Cycled Power Plant (“Daesan II”) located in Daesan Petrochemical Complex, Daesan, Seosan City, Chungnam Province. Its planned installed capacity is 1 million KW, construction starts in 2018 and COD in 2020. After its COD, total installed capacity of CGN Group in Korea will reach 3 million KW. The MOU agreed that Chungnam Province and Seosan City will provide convenience and support to approval and construction of Daesan II. In Chairman He Yu’s address, he highlighted that signing the MOU has laid the foundation for CGN and Chungnam Province and Seosan City to further deepen their cooperation.
