On Jun 17, CGN Meiya released an announcement, claiming that the company would spend RMB 3965.5 million to acquire multiple wind power and solar power assets from CGN Wind Power and CGN Solar Power, including Xiangshan Wind Power in Zhejiang, Ninghai Wind Power in Zhejiang, Taipingshan Wind Power in Shandong and Dunhuang Solar Power in Gansu.

The acquisition consisted of 6 Solar Power project companies and 13 Wind Power project companies with total capacity of 1.4 million KW. The acquisition is expected to increase high quality wind power and solar power assets in CGN Meiya investment portfolio and consolidate company’s development in wind and solar power sector. After the acquisition, CGN Meiya will be able to further improve shareholders’ return and diversified its fuel types and business portfolio.
